The Baby Dropped.. Yay!

Today I had my 34 week appointment. My mid-wife said that Rachel's head is down (which is great news) and that she has already dropped into the pelvis area..I was pretty sure that she had dropped already because my bladder said so and my stomach seemed to be lower. It's nice to see progress. I hope she will come early like Matthew did and I hope for a quick labor and delivery. We'll see what happens. I'll try and keep you guys updated now that her entrance into the world is getting closer. Please continue to keep us in your prayers too. Thanks.

Such a Bummer!

Today I picked up Victor at church and we had a quick dinner at Quiznos.
I dropped him back off at church, thought about calling a friend of mine and realized
I didn't have my phone. I thought no big deal because I would probably find it in some obscure crack in the car when I got home. But when I got home, I didn't find it.. I tried calling it too and still nothing. So I sat in traffic all over again drove to church, Quiznos, the parking lot of the center we were at, went to all the stores around to see if anyone had found it and still nothing. I'm so bumbed right now cause that is one of my favorite phones. It will be the 3rd one in a year that I've had.. I don't even want to talk about what happened to the others. Anyway, I hope by some miracle I get it back wherever it is. Maybe it's still in some weird place in my car.. I hope??

Saturdays...

Lately Victor and I havn't had a whole lot of Saturdays together. He either has practice or we have some family function to be at. So today was the first Saturday we've had in a while just to hang out as a family, relax when we felt the need, and get a few things done around the house since baby Rachel will be coming soon. It was such a nice time for us all. The best part of the day in my opinion was when we went down to Balboa to hang out.

What's the Secret??

So I've met a few moms lately who seems to have it all together. They are great cooks, keep there house in great condition, involved in ministry,hang out with there kids, and take great care of themselves. I want to know what their secret is...

I really do try.. but for me when I get one task done another is awaiting and it seems never ending. My house and car are hardly ever in a condition that I'm satisified with... and cooking to me is heating up some Trader Joes meal. I really want to be that mom and wife that can pull it all together and have a balance in my life..... Any suggestions??

An Amazing Miracle!!

This is a picture of my beautiful nephew Ryan James. Last Thursday he suddenly came down with 104 fever and continued to battle it for the next few days. He was finally diagnosed a couple days ago with Pnemonia. In the begining motrin was helping his fever but the last day and a half the antibiotics, motrin, and baths were not helping much. Midday yesterday his fever reached up to 105.2. My mom called us last night and asked us to pray for Ryan and she also called about 3 different prayer hot lines. Ryan had over 100 people praying for him. Last night for the first time in 6 days his fever completely went away and has not returned at all today!! Wow!!! Is that awesome or what?? That is a miracle of God! All I can do is praise Him and share what He has done!! To God be all the glory!! Thank you Lord for hearing our crys!!!

2 More Months!

So I'm not a big fan of posting pregnancy pictures of myself but I know some of you far, far away would like to see how big i am these days..Well this is the most recent pic taken a couple weeks ago.. I feel like I'm already bigger.. maybe i am.. Anyway, this pregnancy has been much more difficult. My body for sure aches more, especially since my little 20lb boy always wants to be picked up. Anyway, enjoy the pic because it is the first and last I plan on posting.

Today is Victor's Birthday!!! He is my best friend, husband, father of our children,and the love of my life! I have a few snapshots that I hope you enjoy of Victor in different stages of his life.
